We are an industrial equipment manufacturer that was established in 1912 and celebrated the 100th anniversary of its founding in 2012.
\nWe built the Shiga Plant in Yasu City in 1964, and provide state-of-the-art coaters and dryers manufactured based on the expertise accumulated over many years to across the world with the motto of “Quality First.\u201dProducts made with our equipment are processed in various ways and continuedly used in a wide range of fields familiar to people\u2019s everyday lives, such as in-vehicle lithium-ion secondary battery, smartphone, tablet, LCD TV, solar power generation, non-woven fabric and medical fields.We will continue to follow our management philosophy of \u201cIntegrity,\u201d \u201cAction,\u201d and \u201cRevolution\u201d and our environmental philosophy, contributing to society.<\/div>\n

    Participation in the Yasu City \u201cOperation Zero Waste\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
    Our employees participate in the Yasu City \u201cOperation Zero Waste\u201d held around the end of May annually to clean areas around our Shiga Plant and the shores of Lake Biwa.
    \nIn Shiga Prefecture, under the “Ordinance on Prevention of Scattering of Waste in Shiga Prefecture,” companies, various groups, and citizens work together to beautify the entire prefecture, with the “Environmental Beautification Day” on May 30 as the base date. In Yasu City, activities are carried out in order to foster a love for the hometown and create a comfortable city. As part of our social contribution activities, we are also participating in this initiative.<\/div>\n

      Yasumaru Square<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
      We exhibit at Yasumaru Square, an event held in Yasu City where civic groups and companies in the city participate, to showcase the results of our daily activities through panel displays and introduce our company, equipment and social contribution activities, etc.

        Street-Corner First-Aid Station (First-Aid Cooperation Office)<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

        The Shiga Plant is equipped with an automated external defibrillator (AED) in the office and has employees who have completed lifesaving training. Therefore, it has been certified by the Konan Fire Department as a facility that can provide first aid for accidents and sudden illnesses that occur in the workplace or in the neighborhood.<\/p>\n

        We will continue to work to protect the precious lives of local communities and contribute to improving life-saving rates.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

          Disaster Prevention Merit Award<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

          Our Shiga Plant (Yasu City, Shiga Prefecture) received the Disaster Prevention Merit Award from the Director General of the Konan Fire Department.
          \nThis award is given to voluntary disaster prevention organizations, business establishments, and other groups that have made outstanding achievements in the dissemination of disaster prevention ideas or the development of disaster prevention systems over a long period of time.
          \nEncouraged by the recognition from the authorities for our steady efforts in fire and disaster prevention activities, we aim to further raise the awareness of our employees.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

            Shiga Labor Bureau Director’s Commendation<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

            Our Shiga Plant (Yasu City, Shiga Prefecture) has received the Shiga Labor Bureau Director’s Encouragement Award (for safety measures) from the Shiga Labor Bureau.
            \nThe award was given in recognition of the cooperation between labor and management in risk assessments, safety patrols including at business trip destinations, and various other safety and health activities that are continually implemented, as well as the company’s unique and ingenious safety and health management activities.
            \nThis award is truly an honor, and we will continue to work together with labor and management to further develop safety and health management activities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

              Industry-academia collaboration<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

              As part of our industry-academia collaboration and social contribution efforts, we invited a total of eight people, including professors and graduate students from the Osaka Institute of Technology, to introduce our company’s initiatives and exchange opinions.
              \n
              \nThe participants provided introductions of their research and projects as well as valuable feedback, making it a meaningful forum for exchanges aimed at future human resource development and technological advancement.
              \nWe will continue to deepen mutual understanding through industry-academia collaboration and engage in activities that contribute to society and the local community.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

                \nIt is truly an honor that the fire prevention and disaster prevention activities that we have been steadily working on have been highly praised by the federation.
                \nEncouraged by this award, we will continue to work hard to further strengthen our fire prevention and disaster prevention systems.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t
