My favorite words: “Things will work out.”
It is somewhat loosely nuanced, but it is a positive phrase that looks forward brightly and firmly, meaning, “Even if something happens, we will manage.” Sometimes I tell myself that.
Current work description
Every day, I draw drawings using CAD, a system software for drawing designs and drafts.
The leader or manager checks it and passes it on to the production department.
I had been making drawings by hand since I was a student, so I had no experience with CAD,
but senior employees carefully guided me through the process, so I was able to get used to it quickly.
Work fulfillment
I have loved math, physics and chemistry since my school days. At the company, what I learned as a student is directly useful, and I enjoy it every day.
What I am working my hardest now is answering the phone. I receive inquiries from other departments, manufacturing sites, and customers, and I investigate and answer each inquiry.
Sometimes I get panick when I am asked something unexpected, so I would like to get used to it by working on more different cases.
What I am aiming for in the future
I love to draw drawings so much that I get lost in it, and I want to pursue this job further. In the future, I would like to be able to design an entire piece of equipment by myself.

How to spend holidays
Since my university was in Kyoto, I sometimes go out to eat with my friends from school who live nearby. When I am at home, I watch TV. I like romantic dramas. They are refreshing change of pace.
What I like about the company
At this company, we can have conversations with members regardless of age and department; we can frankly talk to members also in the Manufacturing and Materials departments. I think that this cozy atmosphere suits me.
Motivation for joining the company
Since I was a student, I wanted to design, and I was particularly attracted to large industrial machinery, so I was looking for a company in the machinery field. I went to several company information sessions and was very impressed with the friendly atmosphere, so I decided to come here.
Company culture
As I felt at the company information session, the corporate culture is friendly. The seniors as well as the colleagues and juniors are very kind, and the seniors in particular are easy to ask questions. If I don’t understand something or have any doubts, they teach me in detail until I am satisfied. The company has very good human relations.
