My motto is “To be loved by those around me”.

During the induction training for junior associates, I always tell them to be loved by seniors and customers.
When we join a company, we tend to befriend only those colleagues who are close to our age.
That is important, but when problems arise, senior staff are often there to help. For this reason, it is important to build a relationship with them on a regular basis.
I believe the same is true for our relationship with our customers. By maintaining a reasonable distance and building a good relationship with them, they may cooperate with us.

Although it is difficult to lead team members and communicate with them, I find it rewarding.
Since each job must be done by its deadline, when there are many things to do, I should consider the allocation of work for the team and each staff member. Therefore, I have set up several sections within the team I am assigned to, allocated leaders to each section, and hold regular meetings. We share information and exchange opinions on work distribution and technical issues at the meetings, and work daily to ensure that each staff member is able to do his or her job with satisfaction and responsibility. We also have many joint projects with other teams. It is a particularly rewarding moment for me when I create a work environment in which staff and leaders can easily exchange ideas with staff of other groups, and when each staff member demonstrates his or her abilities as a member of a team, and then the results are evident.

What I value in my work

Work has deadlines and time is limited. I believe that it is important to simplify each job to conduct work efficiently. It will increase the amount of private time they have, and when they are physically and mentally satisfied, they will be more motivated to work, and their work productivity will increase.

Objective

In recent years, I have come to realize that technological capabilities have been improved in China and other Asian countries. Therefore, I intend to raise the technical skills of my team and staff. By working efficiently to improve our technical and planning skills, I strive to ensure that my staff has time to develop new technologies and to work actively and thoughtfully on their own.

Hobbies and how to spend holidays

I play amateur baseball with my friends on holidays. I am an infielder. I mainly practice before each game.

What I like about the company

I joined the company as a mid-career hire, and I am attracted to the fact that our staff is very close and that the senior staff is always available to discuss issues with junior staff. I received a lot of help from my seniors too, when I had just joined the company and was struggling with the difficulties in drawing plans.

Motivation for joining the company

Previously, I worked for an electronics company. However, I wanted to be involved in manufacturing visible products, so I decided to change my career to mechanical engineering and joined the company.

What I expect from the company

We need to expand our business more globally. We are now expanding into East Asia and growing our market, but I am not satisfied with our current situation and would like to build relationships with new customers. My main goal is to expand the name “Techno Smart” not only in Asia but also in other regions.
