My motto is “Failure is a stepping stone to success.”
While it is ideal to always make no mistakes, what I keep in mind is to record every time I make a mistake and not repeat the same mistake.
I would like to make use of the knowledge I gained from failure, by thinking, “I have made mistakes like this before, so I will take countermeasures like this beforehand,” rather than ending it on the spot.
Current work description
I am engaged in mechanical design related to industrial machinery. For example, I design machines that make films for smartphones.
Work fulfillment
I find it interesting to see my own drawings take shape as products. The manufacturing site is located on the same site, so I can immediately see the process of shaping the product.
What I am aiming for in the future
I want to work as a engineer all my life, and I also want to be a decisive person.
I want to be able to say my opinion and what needs to be said to customers and others.
I was the first woman to join the company as a career engineer. From now on, I want to work hard to earn respect and create an environment where women can thrive.

What I like about the company
I think it’s great that the manufacturing site is on the same site, so you can see everything from order receipt to installation completion with your own eyes. Also, it is important to cooperate with other departments, which means that we are often involved with a variety of people.
Motivation for joining the company
I was a member of the mechanical engineering department at my university. Among them, the classes on mechanical Design using CAD were both difficult and gave me a sense of accomplishment when I was able to complete them, and I wanted to find a job related to this field. In addition to that, I wanted to be involved in custom-made machine Design, rather than a fixed product, so I looked for a company related to industrial machinery. In addition, our company provided training for the first year of employment, which gave me peace of mind. In fact, even after joining the company, I was able to learn a lot about machinery, experience different departments, and choose the one that suits me best. Since our equipment requires knowledge of all four major dynamics, I am also able to utilize the knowledge I learned in the university.
What to expect from the company
Our company has a 100-year history. I believe that we must take over that and change our perspective to carry it forward.
Company culture
The benefits package, including paid leave and parental leave, is very attractive to women. We also have a close sense of distance with our superiors, and when we make proposals, they listen to the opinions of young people. Of course, if the suggestions are bad, they will properly point it out. Other benefits include a training program during the first year of employment, which allows us to experience various departments and choose the one that best suits our needs.
