My motto is “Failure is a stepping stone to success.”
Although always making no mistakes is ideal, even if I made a mistake, I try not to repeat the same mistake by recording such mistake.
Rather than treating a mistake as an isolated event, I would like to make use of lessons from mistakes, by taking measures in advance to prevent recurrence of mistakes that I made before.
Current work description
I design industrial machines. I design and make drawings for machines, including those which manufacture smartphone films.
Work fulfillment
I find it interesting that the drawings that I made become products. Since the factory is close to my office, I can see the process of shaping a drawing into a product anytime.
What I am aiming for in the future
I want not only to work as an engineer, but also to become a decisive person.
I want to be able to say what I should say and what I think even to customers.
I am the first woman who joined this company as an engineer on the main career track. In the future, I would like to be respected and create the foundation where women can play an active role.

What I like about this company
It is that since the factory is close to my office, I can see for myself the process from acceptance of an order from a customer to completion of installation. Also, since cooperation among departments is important, I can often interact with various people.
Motivation for applying for this company
I enrolled at a department of mechanical engineering. Classes for machine design using CAD were challenging but when I was able to complete an assignment, I enjoyed a feeling of accomplishment. So, I wanted to make this a career. In addition to this, I wanted to be involved in machine design for custom-engineered products rather than mass-produced products to look for a company related to industrial machinery. Moreover, this company has a one-year training system for new employees, which brought a sense of ease. In fact, I was able to learn a lot of mechanical knowledge after joining the company, and I experienced various departments to be able to select the department that suits me. Since our machines require knowledge of all of the four dynamics, I can make use of the knowledge that I learned at the university.
What I expect from the company
This company has a history of as many as 100 years. I think that we must pass it down to the next generation by bringing a new perspective.
Culture of this company
It is attractive that the welfare programs are female-friendly, including paid leave and childcare leave. Also, our supervisors are closed to their subordinates, and they consider any proposals even from young members. Of course, if proposals are not good, they properly point out what are not good. In addition, the training programs for one year after new employees joined the company, and they can experience various departments to be able to select the department that suits them, which brought a sense of ease.
