My favorite words: “Things will work out.”
Although they seem to have a loose nuance, they are positive, forward-looking words that mean “Even if something bad happens, it will be OK.” I sometimes tell it myself.
Current work description
Every day, I make drawings using CAD, which is a system software application for designing and making drawings.
After having them checked by the leader or manager, I hand them over to the Manufacturing department.
Since I made drawings by hand when I was at school, I had no experience with CAD.
However, I was able to get used to it quickly because senior employees carefully gave me instructions.
(There is no co-worker from the chemical field who began the same year as me.)
Work fulfillment
I have loved mathematics, physics and chemistry since I was a student. At the company, what I learned when I was a student is directly useful, and I enjoy it every day.
Under such circumstances, I am doing my best to respond to telephone calls. We receive inquiries from other departments, manufacturing sites, and customers, so we check and answer each time.
Sometimes I get impatient when asked about unexpected things, so I want to get used to more various cases.
What I am aiming for in the future
Since I like making drawings so much that I am absorbed, I want to pursue this job more. In the future, I would like to become responsible for the design of one whole machine.

How to spend holidays
Since my school was in Kyoto, I go out to eat with my friends from my school days who live nearby. At home, I watch television. I mainly like to watch romantic dramas, which makes me feel refreshed.
What I like about this company
At this company, we can have conversations with members regardless of age and department; we can frankly talk to members also in the Manufacturing and Materials departments. I think that this cozy atmosphere suits me.
Motivation for applying for this company
Since I was a student, I wanted to do design work, and because I was attracted to large industrial machinery, in particular, I was looking for a machinery-related company. Although I went to several company briefing sessions, since I was impressed by this company’s friendly atmosphere, I decided to join this company.
Culture of this company
As I felt at the company briefing, this company has a friendly corporate culture. Many of members, including senior members, my co-workers who began the same year and junior members, are kind. It is easy to ask questions especially to senior members. They carefully explain what I cannot understand or decide until I satisfy myself. This is a company where employees have very good relationships.
