It is easy to stop doing anything, but difficult to continue. It is even more difficult to start again what you once stopped. It may be a cliché, but these words frankly tell us how important it is to keep on keeping on.
Current work description
I am mainly responsible for assembling equipment and installing and adjusting facilities.
I have been involved in this work ever since I joined the company,
and now I have many occasions to instruct junior staff at customer sites.
Enjoyment and satisfaction of work
When I talk with younger employees or go on overseas business trips, I find it interesting to encounter ideas and new perspectives that are different from my own.
Particularly, I often learned things from the different ways of thinking in foreign countries, which sometimes led to subsequent work proposals, making it a very beneficial to me.
What I value in my work
I value communication with the people I work with, especially younger employees. Even if we’re not exactly friends, I think it’s easier to work together if we’re on a relationship where we can joke around a little.
What I am aiming for in the future
I have a senior colleague whom I admire and respect, and I am working hard to be someone like him.
And I hope that someday I myself can be the person that people think, “I want to be like that person”.

How to spend holidays
I have been playing volleyball since junior high school. Since I was 18 years old, I have been a member of an adult team and often practice on weekday evenings.
I also like to play golf, but I don’t go there much these days because I spend most of my holidays with my children. But I participate in volleyball matches as much as possible!
What I like about the company
I believe that our strength lies in our ability to meet the needs of our customers on a completely custom-made basis, as well as our history and experience since our establishment over a century ago.
The fact that there are drawings that have been handed down since the company’s inception is proof of how highly perfected the products were from the very beginning.
Motivation for joining the company
When I was considering my career path after graduation, I became interested when I heard that two of our graduates had joined the company. As I researched the company, I learned about the good atmosphere at the plant and the low turnover rate, and followed my gut feeling that it was a good company.
What to expect from the company
The strength of our products is that they are completely custom-made, but there is a drawback that it takes a long time to deliver them. Now that the market is demanding faster delivery, I am considering the possibility of offering a semi-custom type of service in the future.
Company culture
Our workplace has a relaxing atmosphere. Communication is good regardless of department, and managers are very friendly. I think it is really easy to work there because there is a culture of being able to consult immediately if you have a problem and trying to respond to it no matter how much time it takes.
