Favorite words: “Originality and ingenuity”
During the first few months after I was assigned to the Research and Development department, I felt that it would be a burden for senior members if I always sought to be taught just because I was a newcomer. To think for myself first before asking others and value this attitude, I still have the words of “Originality and ingenuity” by my side.
Current work description
I am engaged in feedbacking test results to customers and the Design department.
I take charge of all processes from making a drawing and assembling a prototype to checking operation of the prototype
and informing the customer of the test results.
What pleases and motivates me
The work that I imagined from the words “research and development” is exactly the same as the work that I am doing now, which is rewarding. I graduated an university in the electric field, and recently I have been more frequently engaged in work in which I can make use of what I learned at the university. For example, I enjoy creating programs related to sensors.
What I value in my work
What I keep in mind every day is thorough checking. To ensure that products that meet customers’ needs operate properly, it is important to repeat checking and take responsibility for my work.
What I am aiming for in the future
I would like to become a developer with a wide range of knowledge from machinery and electricity to chemistry.
At this company, which deals with coating machines, in particular, deep knowledge of liquid composition, etc. is required. My immediate goal is to become a member who is good at chemistry.
One day’s schedule
DAYS
- Morning assembly
- Announce the work scheduled for today
- Make a report on the results of tests conducted on the previous day, etc.
- Create drawings
- Respond to emails
- Collect and assemble components at the experiment factory
- Prepare for a test
- Consider development projects, etc.
How to spend holidays
I have been break-dancing since I was a student. On holidays, I practice dancing or participate in dance events. Depending on the time of year, I break-dance at school festivals. I deliver dance performances in front of audience once a month on average.
Motivation for applying for this company
This company deals with the fields similar to the research fields that I conducted at school, and commuting was also a deciding point for the application. When I heard at the company briefing that get-together sessions among employees are often held, I felt that the corporate culture suited me.
What I like about this company
It is good that basically, all members are caring, and whenever they are asked a question, they answer it. This all the more makes me want to solve what I can solve by myself. I am also proud of the fact that this company has many employees of resource who can come up with countermeasures one after another even if something goes wrong.
Culture of this company
It is good communication. I can talk with other members even about small things on a daily basis, and when the need arises, decision-making is quick.
