We implement confidentiality obligation exhaustively
Much of what we see and speak in our every day business activities involve confidential matters.
When manufacturing coaters or dryers for customers or when executing coating or floating drying processes with such devices, as well as in development of heretofore undisclosed new products, every business operation and action is strictly kept confidential.
Every day business activity conducted with understanding that “customer information means customer asset.”
Although we may conclude confidentiality agreements in some cases, Techno Smart pledges strict control of all information and matter (interview details, development theme and objective, test developments and results and other information acquired) related to the range of service we provide to customers, regardless of whether agreements have been concluded.
Confidentiality at Techno Smart
The company exerts its utmost in protecting the customer’s confidential data.
Information gathering
When receiving information from the customer, the objective of use of such information is made explicit and received with approval of the customer.
Confidentiality
Confidential information obtained from customers will not be disclosed or leaked to the third parties regardless of in writing, orally, or by any other means.
Prohibition of the use other than for the objective
Customer information will not be used for business activities other than the designated objective, without the approval of the customer received in advance.
Information management
- Employees to handle confidential information are exhaustively trained in the purpose and nature of confidentiality and to maintain confidentiality with due care of prudent manager.
- Business operation involving confidential information will not be subcontracted, unless with the approval of the customer received in advance. The obligations and responsibilities of the subcontractor are equivalent to that of our company.
- Customer information deemed no longer necessary to be stored will be deleted and destroyed without fail.
Inquiries regarding personal information
Inquiries related to customer information under Techno Smart management received for confirmation of data, data disclosure or revision will be handled appropriately after confirming the veracity of the inquiry through means of identity check.
Handling intellectual property rights (supplementary items)
When an invention or design has been created with the use of customer data, the customer will be notified promptly for consultations regarding ownership of the intellectual property right, coverage of expenses, licensing rights, etc. Confidentiality provision described in Clause 2 applies on the intellectual property right to be submitted for approval.
